Your Fundo Cash Advance application takes you through several screens, the 4th of which asks you to connect to your bank. We use your banking transaction information to verify your business income and the length of time you have been operating as a business, contractor or self employed individual. This is done through a secure connection using an industry trusted third party called Plaid.
This secure, encrypted connection does not allow our agents, nor the third party to view your login information, access your account, or grant access to the actual funds in your account. This connection works by downloading a snapshot your transaction history for the last 90 days for our agents to review, sort of like getting a digital statement.
